--------------------------

I am using an exciting new hop for my dry hops. HBC 366 or as it's now called Equinox. These hops are packed full of oil and should be great for dry hopping.

This did not go well...to many whole leaf hops. The whole leaves expanded and they did not want to stay in my hop spider. Instead of my planned 12 oz at 15 minutes and 12 oz at flameout I ended up just adding 12 oz and boiling an extra 15 minutes to get the bitterness I needed for an IPA.

Largest boil I have ever done! 23 gallons!

Testing the beer ph.

Using my phone meter for the first time.

Mashing.
Spreadsheet I am trying out to adjust my water profile.

Target ph 5.42 - result 5.47. I used 20 ml of lactic acid to adjust the ph. Pretty good for my first time.
